This building was erected by the city of Council Bluffs, Iowa. It's peculiar structure was intended to resemble a traditional Indian Wigwam. The building was dedicated on June 23,1898.

The site of the building was on Sherman Ave directly opposite the Iowa building and close to the main entrance. The big Teepee grabbed the attention of all that passed.
