The inside of this building was ornamented with handsome
pictures. These pictures were meant only for decoration, not
exhibition. These paintings included several large paintings of the
Worlds Fair. These paintings were 10X20 feet and were painted by Mr. Key
of Chicago.
An annex was built onto this building to be used as an art gallery to
display valuable paintings and works of art owned in Illinois.
