September 30,1898 was denoted as Georgia Day. It was on this day,
an special train brought a large number of Georgia's represtative citizens
to celebrate at the Exposition. Georgia was the only southern state east
of the Mississippi River to have a building at the Expostion. This
building was a credit to the state and to the Expostion as well.
