The German Village and Scenic railroad opened today.
Montgomery Ward has just received a magnificent piano that is operatedby electricity. It will be placed on display in their building.
The Wisconsin building was a handsome structure facing the Illinois building onone of the best locations on that part of the grounds set aside for StateBuildings. It was classic in style and excellently planned to meet thepurposes for which it was erected. A.C. Clas of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a memberof the Wisconsin Commission, was the architect of the building, and it waserected at a cost of about $10,000.
The Wisconsin Exposition Commissioners present, were John C. Koch of Milwaukee,president; E.C. Clas of Milwaukee, treasurer; J.E. Hansen of Milwaukee, C.H.Baxter of Lancaster, G.H. Grenback of Madison, H.D. Fisher of Florence, FredKickhefer of Milwaukee; Mrs. Angus Cameron of LaCrosse; General John Hicks ofOshkosh; Mrs. Leonard Lottredge of La Crosse. The commissioners and guestsgathered at the building at 11 o'clock A.M. and the following program ofexercises constituted the celebration of the dedication of this building:

At 2 o'clock in the Auditorium, exercises were held by the women of the
NATIONAL FEDERATION OF WOMEN'S CLUBS.
Many of the delegates to the National Federation of Women's Clubs which washeld at Denver on June 20-21-22, stopped at Omaha en route, and the OmahaWoman's Club took this occasion to celebrate their visit to the ExpositionGrounds. The exercises were held in the Auditorium building, and in manyrespects the meeting was one of the most notable ever assembled in Omaha. Itincluded many of the most talented and progressive women of the nation. Thelarge Auditorium was comfortably filled when the hour arrived for thecommencing of the exercises. Mrs. Winona S. Sawyer of Lincoln, NebraskaPresident of the Board of Lady Managers of the Exposition, presided, andintroduced the exercises by some well chosen remarks. The program was asfollows:
