Illumination of the Midway... with hundreds of red, white, and blue fires
turned night into day.
Accidents on the Scenic Railroad injuries several. One of the cars ran
off the track and nearly tumbled to the ground . Five were hurt, none
badly. They were visiting from Council Bluffs.
