The Concession known as "Birth of our Nation" was granted permission (to change) to a restaurant. (Ed. note: See Oct. 5 1898 Livestock Exchange Rest.)

A worker at the Long Maned Horse concession was fired for short changing visitors.

The celebration of Texas Day was one of the most interesting of the many state day celebrations at the Exposition. The program consisted of:
