Summer Reading Program
Registration for the Summer Reading Programs begins on June 2. Come to the library to register for "Catch the Reading Bug" for children pre-school to grade 6 (as of fall 2008) or "Metamorphosis @ Your Library" for ages 12-18. The Summer Reading Program schedule features comedian Joe Cole at the kick off on June 4.
Special contests and drawings for adults will be available throughout June and July. Visit the library often during the "Transform Yourself: Read" summer program.

Ralston Reconnection Juried Art Exhibit
The Ralston Cultural Arts Task Force has announced its 3rd annual "Ralston Reconnection" art show to celebrate the work of artists who have a connection with Ralston. The show will be held at the library from June 25 through July 13, 2008. Additional details can be found in the Call for Entries letter and Entry Form. |

Computer Classes - Descriptions & Schedule
Call the library if you'd like to show your collection in the display cases or if you'd like to suggest or present a topic for a lunch and learn.
The Baright Public Library has won three grants from the Eastern Library System, which serves seven counties in eastern Nebraska, and the Nebraska Library Commission.
New puzzles and board books are available in the children's area and can be checked out.
Two Wii gaming machines and several games, including Dance Dance Revolution, are here! The Wii machines will be used for teen programs and on separate nights for older adults.
Tai chi classes, jointly funded by an Eastern Library System grant and funds from Ralston's Cultural Arts Task Force, are being conducted in March and April.
The Hollis & Helen Baright Public Library strives to inform, enrich, and empower the Ralston community and surrounding area residents by providing educational, informational, cultural, and recreational library services, materials, and activities in an accessible and efficient manner.
