Computers & Equipment

The Millard Branch of the Omaha Public Library has a variety of computers and equipment available for the public.

Public Computers:

Computers for access to the Library's online catalog and online databases only
Computers for Internet access, with filtered access options
Computers equipped with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Express terminals available without reservation for 15 minutes maximum use

Adaptive Technology:

Audio Loops at the Information Desk
Computers with screen magnification software
Computers with screen reading software
Computers with speech recognition software
Flatbed scanners
Handheld video magnifiers

Wireless Internet Access:

Available to users with Wi-Fi enabled laptops and wireless devices
Can connect in most areas of the building
No hourly or daily user fees
Users responsible for configuring own equipment and connecting to network

Fax machine available:

$1.50 for first page and $1.00 for each additional page.

Fax machines take debit and credit cards. Pre-paid fax cards are available for purchase.

Printing available:

$0.10/page for black and white and $0.25/page for color.

Copy machines available:

$0.10/page for letter sized paper, $0.20/page for legal sized paper, and $0.25/page for ledger sized paper
