If you cannot attend the full conference Day Passes are available for $40 for either Frday or Saturday.

  • Crime Lab/Crime Scene Track - LISTEN TO SOME REAL CSI STORIES

    According to Alex Kava, the panel discussions will include real-life experts: a crime scene investigator, the commander of a regional crime lab, a district attorney and the director of a university forensic science program.

    Just a few of their crime scene experiences they'll share with you: scraping enough blood from the bottom of a Dumpster to match a missing boy's DNA; excavating mass graves in Iraq; processing the scene of the deadliest bank robbery in a decade; and using a cadaver dog to find a murdered child in a house's foundation.

We will offer author assignments only to traditionally published authors of crime fiction or those who have been nominated for established mystery awards. We define traditional publisher authors as those who:
  1. Did not pay any of the costs associated with the publication of their books
  2. Are published by a company that:
    1. publishes at least three authors other than the publisher, members of the publisher's family, or staff of the publishing company.
    2. does not guarantee publication of all submissions
    3. provides editorial support to its authors.
