Genealogy Page: Greater Omaha Genealogical Society

The Greater Omaha Genealogical Society is highly supportive of the Omaha Public Library. Their volunteers help staff the Genealogy Room and are available to help walk-in customers.  Volunteers are normally available Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Wednesday afternoons. They will also do research for a fee.  Please contact the Greater Omaha Genealogical Society for more information. The Society members are major contributors and fund raisers for genealogical acquisitions.

The Society sponsors workshops which are held at the Mormon Trail Center (3215 State Street). Please call (402) 444-4826, check the webpage or e-mail Genclass@aol.com to register and find out the topics.  Advanced registration is REQUIRED. These classes fill up quickly.
