FREE Homework Help Available at your library®

It’s not too late for a good report card this spring. Omaha Public Library is offering FREE homework help from professional tutors for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Studies have shown that some of the many benefits students receive from working with a tutor include improved self-esteem and self-confidence, increased mastery of academic skills, new friendships and improved attitude toward school.

The following four Omaha Public Library locations will begin offering homework help on March 10:

  • ·      Milton R. Abrahams Branch
    5111 N. 90th St. / 444-6284
    Mondays / 4-6 p.m.
  • ·      Charles B. Washington Branch
    2868 Ames Ave. / 444-4849
    Mondays / 3-5:30 p.m. (except March 24)
    Tuesdays / 4:30-6:30 p.m. (except March 18)
  • ·      South Branch
    2302 M St. / 444-4850
    Tuesdays & Wednesdays / 4-7 p.m.
  • ·      Willa Cather Branch
