September 6, 2007 (Downtown) Omaha Lit Fest to Welcome C-SPAN’s Book TV Bus |
| Book lovers and production buffs won’t want to miss C-SPAN’s
Book TV Bus, coming to the (downtown) omaha lit fest, Sept.
14-15. The
45-foot long mobile television production studio will be open for free
tours, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on the 15th Street side of Omaha Public Library’s
W. Dale Clark Library. The bus is on a nationwide tour, stopping at libraries, bookstores, book festivals and community events to promote Book TV's unique non-fiction book programming. Visitors will be able to tour the studio set, participate in an interactive demonstration about Book TV programming, and learn how a television show is produced. Dale Clark Library / 215 S. 15th St. / 444-4800 About Book TV: For a solid 48 hours every weekend (7a.m. on Saturdays to 7a.m. on Mondays) Book TV airs non-fiction book programming on history, biographies, politics, current events, the media and other topics.
