Another photograph taken from the roof of the Union Pacific Council Bluffs Transfer Depot & Hotel looks southwest over the Missouri River and flooded rail yards.
Many rail cars belong to Union Pacific but other railroads such as the Chicago & Dakota had cars trapped by the flood.
