The William L. Yetter Wall Paper Company was in business from 1900 to 1920. It moved around a lot during those twenty years: first it was located on Farnam Street, then it moved over to Harney, then it moved to Howard, and then it moved back to Harney. This is a picture of the company’s “middle period” (1910-1914) location, 1113-1115-1117 Howard Street.
According to the signs on the front of the building, the “jobbers and importers” of the Yetter Wall Paper Company dealt in burlaps, sanitas, window shades, room mouldings, and, of course, wall paper.
