In the center of this picture is the Rose Building, which is located on the southeast corner of 16th and Farnam. To the left (east) of the Rose Building, in the middle of the block, is the Henshaw Hotel. To the south of the Rose Building on 16th is the King Fong Chinese Restauraunt.
The Henshaw Hotel was originally built in 1882 and contained 32 rooms. In 1907 it was expanded to the dimensions seen (well, partially seen) in this picture: eight floors and 152 rooms.
The Rose Realty Company built the six-story Rose Building in 1916.
Both buildings are still standing, and the Rose Building (now known as the Securities Building) is on the National Register of Historic Buildings.
