Julius Meyer, in center, was proprietor of the Indian Wigwam, dealer in Chinese, Japanese, and Indian curiosities, cigars and tobacco. His shop was located at the northeast corner of 14th and Farnam Streets. Mr. Meyer is shown with six unidentified Indians. Buffalo hides hang from the store's front. The Indians named him “Box-ka-re-sha-hash-ta-ka” – the man who talks with his tongue.
