An eBook is a digital version of a print book that can be read on PCs, Macs, laptops, supported PDAs, and other devices. eBooks are available in Adobe Reader and Mobipocket Reader formats. Access Omaha Public Library's eBooks with a valid library card, Internet access and Reader software (free).

Your eBook Account
Once you open a free eBook account, you can begin checking out eBooks. No fines will accrue as eBooks are 'automatically' returned on the due date.

Two Accounts
Although your eBook and regular library accounts require separate logins, you will use your same 14-digit library card number and PIN to access both.

You cannot go back and forth from
the library catalog
and www.ebook.omahapubliclibrary.org without having to log in again.

You can also read a further explanation of EBook Accounts and search the general Help section for troubleshooting tips.
